The number of people retiring abroad is set to increase to 3.3 million by 2050, according to NatWest International personal banking. Portugal has been rated the third best place to retire to by two independent surveys undertaken by NatWest and Saga. The inexpensive cost of living, excellent healthcare, mild climate and high quality beaches are just some of the reasons urging retirees to relocate to Portugal.
