Editor - Australia & NZ Magazine
Australia & New Zealand Magazine, the UK’s fastest growing travel magazine, requires an experienced and passionate editor to oversee the next exciting stage of its development. With a large and informed readership, a strong community spirit and a growing web presence, the title needs an editor with the commitment, vision and flair to deliver quality, focussed content on a monthly basis. The ideal candidate will have experience of working for a monthly consumer magazine, preferably in the travel / overseas sector, although this is not essential. A good knowledge of publishing software including Photoshop and Indesign is required. This is a full time position and will be based in Bath.
Main duties:
- Flatplanning
- Commissioning
- Managing a budget
- Writing news stories, reviews and events for the magazine and website
- Oversee members of the team
- Demonstrate ability to perform key production roles
- Signing off all pages
- Liaising with sales
- Building subscriptions
- Making and maintaining industry contacts
- Representing the tile at trade and industry events
- General admin duties

This role centres on selling online advertising solutions to our core customer base in both Travel & Property and Beauty, as well as evangelining internally about digital media and championing online across the sales floor.
