Heard quit a few promising noises about the Morocco property market, general investment being made by the government - and pretty good feedback from friends who have visited Marrakech, the tradions and culture set up there seem generally good - but unfortunately haven't visited myself  yet. Got bombarded by an inspection trip company a year ago which put me off a little - but I know its an areas I need to look at, and go investigate.

Was just pitched investing in this place as well whihc looked interesting - http://www.ready2invest.co.uk/investments-and-opportunities/morocco/salama-valley-2.aspx

May well take a look at this Country, so I was wondering if members who have already invested there have had a good experience, what type of returns they are getting, and if there are any areas in Mococco to look out for, or avoid ? Obviously the key thing - expected growth of the market, any projections out there?

I think the big thing Morocco has going for it is the government support for the development of residential tourism, though most of this is towards the coastal areas. Marrakech. I've been a few times to see the new developments and they are impressive. With a flight time from the UK only half an hour longer than to the south of Spain and a large number of low-cost routes into the airports, access is quick and easy.
