Unique investment opportunity in Pisa's new ultra-modern leaning monument.
The construction of a new monument in Pisa is to begin in June this year. Designed by architect Dante Oscar Benini, it will be made of glass and steel and will simulate a tilt with a clever trick of the light.
Although it will house offices and apartments, the tower is likely to attract tourists who will want to compare it with its 600 year old inspiration and rival, the original Leaning Tower of Pisa. For foreign property purchasers, the new tower could represent a one-off investment opportunity.
The new building will be built just 3 miles south-east of the original and stand at exactly the same height at 57.6 metres tall, changing the landscape of the ancient city of Pisa forever.
Construction is expected to take 2 and a half years and will cost an estimated 70 million euros.
